Dear Jane,
I love theater. I love the lights, the songs, the dancing, and pretty much everything about it. I really want to be a part of the theater program at school, but I have absolutely no interest in actually being on stage.
I feel like I am being left out, perhaps because of my own doing. Nevertheless, I am so sad I’m not a part of the theater process in some way. Is there anything I can do?
Sincerely,
Theater Tom

Dear Theater Tom,
Luckily, a theater program has much more to offer than just acting. Although, the actors are often what the community sees, so much more happens behind the scenes.
There are those who work stage crew, lights, and soundboard. There is a job for everyone. Another way to get involved is to join the Drama Club, where there are theater related activities that aren't necessarily acting.
Love,
Jane
