"Hands on experience with producing the shows."

Advanced Theatre could be supplemented with the title “Theatre Production.” The class focus is primarily the production at hand. This includes advertising throughout the community, building and painting sets, preparing lighting and sound equipment for the shows and other events, and any other odds and ends jobs necessary to maintaining the theatre. During off times, we will dive into Broadway Theatre and Forensics. This class is completely hands on experience with producing the shows. It will take hard work and sweat – so bring some old clothes.

The class will look a bit different than it has in the years past. Although it is critical to get hands on experience, we have also noticed a trend that students are not retaining the necessary information to be successful in the next stages of theatre. Therefore, we will be utilizing the skills learned from previous theatre classes and experiences creating new shows and aspects of theatre. Check below to see a full year at a glace schedule.
