Its a great day to be a Wildcat!

As the College and Career Advocate, my job is to work with all BHS students to research post secondary options and help them make connections between BHS classes, career interests, and college options. There are many ways to accomplish this task, but I can specifically help all BHS students with any of the following processes:

  • Searching and applying to colleges
  • Searching and applying for scholarships
  • Taking college classes in high school
  • Answering questions about financial aid, including the FAFSA, loans, and grants
  • Exploring career options
  • Registering and preparing for the ACT/SAT and ASVAB tests
  • Enlisting in the military
  • Finding internships/mentorships/summer programs
  • Finding a job

On this website, is packed with information related to college and career preparedness. Click each section on the left side of the page to learn more information about that particular subject. Every subject  menu contains valuable information pertaining to all the processes listed above.

The best way to meet with me is by scheduling an appointment. You can schedule an appointment with me in my office or by emailing me with the subject line “Meeting Request”. I recommend this especially for parents wanting to visit with me in the Counseling Office. Otherwise, students can visit with me during lunch, before and after school, or passing periods. Students, please see me to request a pass to meet during class. If your teacher gives you a pass, you may visit me during regular class time as well.

I’m so excited to be a Wildcat and can’t wait to help students explore their options!
